A special evening to lead into Ulster Scots Week 2024! Writer, teacher and poet Anne McMaster with special guest, Willie Drennan introduce you to a gran evening of poetry, yairns, music and an open mic session - if you fancy a wee turn.
The evening will host the exclusive launch of the second anthology from Ulster Scots writers ‘Sheddas On Tha Page'... and we'll guarantee a few stories from them! Willie Drennan, renowned local storyteller and musician, entertains with his love of Ulster Scots and connections and collaborations with other traditions and music genres
This is an evening for sharing stories, music, written and spoken word. You may be new to Ulster Scots or an old hand or just curious. Everyone is welcome to have a great evening with us - so bring a bottle, a poame or a storie and just sit back and enjoy the craic!
