Saturday 1 October, 10:30 - 12:30
Ceramic Artist Fiona Shannon will help participants design and sculpt an Autumnal animal of their choice using air dry clay. Designed for beginners, this is a creative environment encouraging children to get crafty using a range of hand building clay techniques. Make sure they bring along a picture of their favourite animal like a squirrel, hedgehog or barn owl to help them sculpt the right shape and give it loads of character. This workshop is not only fun but improves children’s creative skills, self-expression, confidence and dexterity. Participants will be able to take their animal home at the end of the workshop to paint so please bring a box with you.
The best creativity is messy! Please make sure your child wears suitable clothing.
We aim to ensure that all children and young people participate in an enjoyable and safe environment. Therefore, please complete and return a consent form for each under-18 no later than 24 hours before the activity begins. Completed consent forms are a condition of participation.
