“So funny, I properly cry-laughed”
‘Janey Mac is Hot (Blame the Hormones)’ is an improvised comedy show inspired by audience suggestions, ageing and perimenopausal angst.
Watch and laugh as Janey fearlessly, or foolishly attempts to create a one-night-only theatre show on the spot. ‘Janey Mac is Hot (Blame the Hormones)’ premiered at Tinderbox Theatre’s sell-out Incubate Festival at The Mac Theatre in Belfast (2024), with audiences describing the show as “Pure craic!” “So funny, I properly cry-laughed” and “Stunning in every way.”
Janey Mac is an improviser, stand-up comedian, and writer from Belfast and Portstewart, Northern Ireland. She performed improv comedy for many years in London and now performs regularly with Belfast Musical Improv.
She trained in improv comedy at the Free Association, Monkey Toast and Hoopla in London and the iO Theatre in Chicago.
