Featuring her music, Ottilie traces the life of one of Northern Ireland’s most prolific blues artists. Hailed as the greatest blues singer in the UK and Ireland during the 1950-60s, Ottilie Patterson (1932-2011) was born in Comber, County Down, and achieved international success with the Chris Barber Band, sharing the stage with greats including Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, Ella Fitzgerald, Muddy Waters and Sister Rosetta Tharpe.

Written and directed by Philip Johnston and featuring Rosaleen Agnew, this production celebrates Ottilie’s incredible achievements and life in vivid and memorable detail.
