Join writer Anne McMaster and Dr Dayna Jost, Development Officer for the Ulster-Scots Community Network, for a special screening of ‘Out Of The Silence’ followed by a Q&A. In the film, produced by DoubleBand Films, Anne explores how women’s writing in Ulster has moved from the margins into the mainstream – through an Ulster-Scots lens, uncovering unsung literary heroines and exploring the literary imaginations of Northern Ireland’s new generation of female writers. Out of the Silence is a production for BBC Northern Ireland in conjunction with the Ulster-Scots Broadcast Fund.
