"Many a Son are a North Coast duo formed after nights spent fireside, writing songs with sea salt in the air. Their music captures a strong sense of place and season, rooted in alt-folk, yet elevated by a mix of diverse influences.
In 2024, the duo announced Lost in Season, a first-of-its-kind concept album which traces the seasons of living in the north coast. Beginning with Pine Cones in December 2024, they released a song on the first of every month throughout 2025, with each trio forming a seasonal EP—Winter, Spring, Summer, and Autumn. The project was brought vividly to life on stage, with standout performances including a sold-out Vox Set at Mussenden Temple in collaboration with the National Trust, as well as co-headlining the Atlantic Sessions alongside Polar Bolero. Lost in Season invites listeners to experience the year as a living, evolving soundtrack. The debut album will be released on 30th October 2026, followed by a special launch show the following day. Many a Son are most fully appreciated live. The pair’s allure lies in their undeniable musical chemistry and humble, soulful sound."
