On Saturday 28th November The Broken String Band, Northern Ireland’s longest running and most successful bluegrass band, come to Flowerfield Arts Centre for an evening of the best red hot bluegrass picking this side of Christmas. Doors 7-30pm, concert at 8-00pm. BYO
The Broken String Band are Northern Ireland’s longest running and most successful bluegrass band playing their music to audiences across this island and well beyond its shores. On Saturday 28th November they bring those sounds to Flowerfield Arts Centre for an evening of traditional bluegrass tunes — and tunes that have never heard a banjo before but have now!. The musicians in the band are all top class players who have a wealth of hard earned experience that they bring to the performance with Michael Ashe on five string banjo, Ivan Muirhead on guitar, Adrian Muirhead on mandolin, Philip Steele on bass and Colin Henry on Dobro. These guys know how to pick bluegrass so it is a night not to miss.
