Our participants in our recent creative writing workshop on Saturday 24 July had a wonderful experience at The Old Church Centre, Cushendun. Facilitated by acclaimed writer Bernie McGill, Bernie also took the group on a walk in the village exploring the literary connections associated with the village, including John Hewitt, John Masefield, Louis Macneice and many others.
The activity was part of our ARTBeat initiative which fuses our stunning borough landscape and coastline with creative wellbeing activities. Coming up ,we have a creative mindfulness walk at Whiterocks beach, Portrush on 20 August.
