PROGRAMME
Frightenin’ Family Film: WOLFWALKERS
In Partnership with Cinemagic Young Audiences Supporting the Foodbank Initiative
11am – 12.45pm Cost: Free But booking essential * | 103mins | Cert. PG
In a time of superstition and magic, a young apprentice hunter, Robyn Goodfellowe, journeys to Ireland with her father to wipe out the last wolf pack. While exploring the forbidden lands outside the city walls, Robyn befriends a free-spirited girl, Mebh, a member of a mysterious tribe rumoured to have the ability to transform into wolves by night. As they search for Mebh’s missing mother, Robyn uncovers a secret that draws her further into the enchanted world of the WolfWalkers and risks turning into the very thing her father is tasked to destroy.
*Rather than paying for a ticket to gain entry to the Cinemagic film screening, audiences are asked to donate essential foodbank items on the day which will be collected on arrival at the event and distributed in the community through a local foodbank. Cinemagic are selling the tickets for this directly. DVD is in my office and I’ll ask Shona to bring it over ahead of Halloween so it can be tested over there, but it’s brand new so hopefully won’t cause any issues.
