SATURDAY LUNCHTIMES LIVE IN THE PARK: NORTHERN IRELAND OPERA Saturday 27 July | 12noon-1pm | FREE | Flowerfield Terrace and Flowerfield Park

We are delighted to welcome Northern Ireland Opera back to Flowerfield. Grab a picnic and join us for an hour of arias and songs in lovely Flowerfield Park – one of Northern Ireland Opera’s free performances taking place this summer around Northern Ireland. The theme is ‘Springtime, Summertime and Mischief!’


RED SAILS IN THE SUNSET DROP-IN KIDS WORKSHOP for 4-11 years Saturday 27 July| 10am-12noon | FREE | Drop-in | Flowerfield Terrace

Young artists will craft their very own summer sunset scenes inspired by Jimmy Kennedy’s sublime song Red Sails in the Sunset.

Parents must accompany children at all times during this workshop.


SKETCH AND WALK SESSIONS with Sarah Carrington

Meeting at Portstewart Promenade

Join artist Sarah Carrington for a relaxing outdoor walk and sketch along Portstewart Promenade as part of the Red Sails Festival. Experience a true sense of place and well-being by taking the time to stop and look around, capturing what you see on paper while breathing the sea air and enjoying the holiday-vibe of Portstewart Promenade in the summer. No need for previous artistic knowledge, Sarah will guide you through the first steps.

Participants must be 18+. Materials not provided.
