Using local landscape and coastline as inspiration, explore the freedom of mixed media using paint, mark-making and textures on different surfaces.
List of Materials – please bring to each session:
A sketchbook/some paper approximately A4 size (ideally at least 300gsm)
A set of acrylic paints and a selection of brushes,
For line and mark making - chalks, pens, pencils, markers, whatever you like to use
Canvas boards and/or canvases of various sizes; no larger than A3, four in total,
(these can be bought from The Works, Amazon, or The Range),
Any images or photographs of views that you would like to work from.
