Join acclaimed artist Sarah Carrington for expert guidance in painting outdoors. From landscapes and seascapes on the North Coast to Scotland and the Scottish Isles, working outdoors is the foundation of Sarah’s prolific and masterly work. The artist will offer a short demo/talk on her practice before escorting the group to the beautiful surroundings of Cushendun Bay to work.

Please take your own preferred materials and equipment.

Children will design and make two Halloween-themed sun catchers to brighten up their windows. Using colourful glass, kids will create their own spooktastic scenes featuring pumpkins, bats, ghosts, spiders, witches and haunted houses. They’ll learn how to safely layer glass, explore colour and composition, and discover how their artwork is transformed in the kiln. Artwork will be professionally kiln-fired and ready for collection at a later date (approx. 7-10 days).
