Build Your Own Lego Volcano!

Welcome to day 1 of our Stay at Home Art Club! Every week day at 12pm we will share the best arts and crafts that we have seen online, or that our tutors have made so you can get creative and have fun as a family!

We know lots of you were disappointed that we couldn't run our Lego Animation workshop last week, but good news - we have a Lego Challenge for you to have a go with! This Lego activity comes from Green Kid Crafts at: https://www.greenkidcrafts.com/lego-volcano/ Why not have a go at making your own LEGO VOLCANO!

To make your own Lego Volcano you will need:

• LEGO
• Baking Soda
• Vinegar
• Medium size clear glass/jar

STEP 1: Use a lego Lego board as the base and place your glass or jar in the middle of the board. Build your own volcano around the jar using different coloured legos. Build the volcano so that it is taller than the jar.

STEP 2: Put 2 teaspoons of baking powder into the jar in the middle of your volcano.

STEP 3: Pour the vinegar into the jar and watch your lego volcano erupt!
